What fun to introduce our niece to one of the tastiest treats in New Orleans ... the beignet. A fluffy square pastry drenched in powdered sugar ... she said she could FEEL the cavities forming! :o) And there's no better place to get beignets than the original Cafe du Monde in the heart of the French Quarter!
