#198 - Portraits of Jenna

Take one photography-addicted aunt, add a camera and a beautiful, talented niece, and you have a fun portrait session. I especially like this photo (I took a TON) because it reminds me of her musical gifts (plays violin, guitar and now piano) ... I could sit and listen to her play all day long! (07/17/10)

#197 - A Taste of New Orleans

What fun to introduce our niece to one of the tastiest treats in New Orleans ... the beignet. A fluffy square pastry drenched in powdered sugar ... she said she could FEEL the cavities forming! :o) And there's no better place to get beignets than the original Cafe du Monde in the heart of the French Quarter! Global Wildlife Center - our 15-year-old niece couldn't WAIT to meet the llamas on the safari tour at our local wildlife park ... it's her favorite animal, and she was thrilled beond belief to get to feed and pet the llamas, including this one named Ernie. (07/15/10)

#192 - Fundraisers can be YUMMY!!!!

A Casserole Auction to benefit our children's ministry and the kids going to Centri-Kid camp in a few weeks (of which J is one) ... lots of people donated casseroles, cakes, jellies and jams, and then our church family bought them ... better than eating out! (07/11/10)
