Jonathan has been reading a series of books called Diary of a Wimpy Kid and has been inspired to keep his own journal. I found him a black gator-skin journal at Dollar General, and he has already made several entries in it. I am thrilled that he's started this, and hope it will be a habit he'll continue for a long time. But one of the things that means the most is something I overheard him telling his Daddy ... that his journal was special to him because Momma bought it for him. :) (04/15/10)
