A regular fundraiser for our boys' school, these BBQ chicken dinners are yummy yummy yummy!!!  And I don't have to cook them!!! :o)

#30 - Sonic Speedster

 

Pinewood Derby time ... J's "Sonic Speedster" made it to the championship finals, and although it didn't win the races, it did win first place in "Show and Shine," which was voted on by the scouts in attendance!

#24 - Carlsbad Half Marathon FINISHER!!!!

I know, I know ... I didn't take this one.  But it IS the biggest, most memorable moment of the day!  But just for rules' sake, here's one from the half marathon that I DID take:

#23 - Fish Tacos

Apparently a Southern California concoction ... fish tacos may not sound appetizing (they didn't to me), but they are quite tasty.  I got this at Rubio's in Carlsbad for a taste of SoCal!

After an overnight delay, I finally arrived at my San Diego destination, and saw the bridge to Coronado from the plane window!
