#93 - The Crescent City Classic

Many spectators lined the course of the Crescent City Classic, which took runners, walkers and sashay-ers from Jackson Square in the French Quarter to the beautiful City Park ... but this one was one of the cutest! :)  (04/03/10)

A friend and I spent the day before the Crescent City Classic Road Race just strolling around New Orleans' French Quarter, where I caught these streetcars on Canal Street from just outside our hotel.  (04/02/10)

#91 - A Visit From the Tooth Fairy

After our visit to the dentist where Matthew had his four front lower teeth pulled (due to a permanent tooth coming in BEHIND the baby teeth), The tooth fairy left this note and treat in exchange for those four teeth Matthew didn't need any more! (04/01/10)

#90 - You can have your cake ...

During the cake walk at the church Easter Party, Tony won this beautiful cake baked and decorated by a young lady at our church ... and it tasted as good as it looked ... evidenced that the fact that it was completely consumed by Sunday!  (03/31/10)

#89 - a budding author and illustrator

Jonathan set up his own writing station with a dining room chair and TV table to write and illustrate his own story, featuring characters from the Super Mario Bros Galaxy.  I am so proud of his creativity and enthusiasm for writing! (03/30/10)

#88 - This sign always cracks me up ...

... but it'd definitely something that must be put into context ...

The sign is just before the entrance to a plant nursery on the way to my friend Stephanie's house ... and every time I see it, I pictures a variety of plants dancing across the road and into the nursery just as the mops dance in the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" section of Disney's Fantasia movie.  (Amite, Louisiana - 3/29/10)
